In "What to wear
when yachting", (series 3, episode 7) Hyacinth and Richard are going
sailing on a luxurious ship. In fact, they end up on an old boat at its
moorings. the filming took place in Benson Waterfront, near Oxford, 70 south miles from the Bucket residence.
Benson Waterfront is situated on the edge of the river Thames and offers camping
facilities and boat hire. It is quite, clean, has shops, restaurants, pubs
and parks nearby, and it is only 10 miles south from the touristy destination
Oxford. A good cruiser station in a beautiful countryside for a
quite and relaxing stay. |
